Hi, I’m Mike and welcome to Gambriel Illustration
I’m a freelance illustrator based in the lovely city of Bristol, UK. Since leaving education with a BA in Illustration and venturing out into the realm of creative freelancing I’ve worked with a variety of clients, where I’ve produced illustrations for editorial, advertising and book covers. In recent years, I have been focusing my work towards the world of film and entertainment producing key art for indie and feature films.
This year (2020), I would like to put more energy into my caricature and portraiture work.
I work completely digitally using line and colour in a textured and painterly way in keeping with my traditional background. I’m strongly inspired by 50's illustration, comic book art and the one sheet art of the past.
